BHIVA is a powerful theatrical presentation inspired by the extraordinary life, struggle and ideology of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Through drama, dance, music and visual storytelling, it follows young Bhiva from the pain of exclusion to a life dedicated to dignity, justice and equality.

The stage opens a door.

Every artist selected for BHIVA comes from a slum community. Some work at petrol pumps, others as drivers and in different everyday jobs. By bringing them into this production, we hope to support their talent, create an additional source of income and give their stories a stage.
